MEGA MAN: 1988 to 20XX
Competing in CGTRADER Digital Art Competition
I, of course, played Mario and even some old Atari games but the first time I really understood the level of artistry that a "video game"could have was when I was 6 years old and I played Mega Man 2 for the first time. Upon watching that intro cutscene and seeing a wild-haired robot boy on a rooftop (we had the same hair back then)
I was in. This defined so much aesthetically, narratively and conceptually in my mind that I can say I owe a lot of who I am as a creative person to the Blue Bomber.
